Injectable and Medical Weight Loss

Our medical weight loss program combines the latest science with personalized care to help you achieve long-term results. We offer injectable options, such as GLP-1 medications (like Semaglutide), which work by reducing appetite, slowing digestion, and helping regulate blood sugar. When paired with our medical guidance, nutrition planning, and lifestyle support, this approach helps you lose weight safely and effectively. Unlike fad diets, medical weight loss focuses on real, sustainable results while improving overall health markers such as blood pressure, cholesterol, and energy levels.

Early Interventions for Prevention & Slowing Disease Progression

Alzheimer’s and other chronic diseases often develop silently for years before symptoms appear. At Live Well Clinic, we use cutting-edge screening and prevention strategies to address risk factors early. Interventions may include:

  • Targeted nutrition and supplementation

  • Hormone and metabolic balance

  • Detoxification support

  • Sleep, stress, and lifestyle coaching

These approaches help reduce inflammation, protect brain health, and slow or even reverse early cognitive decline, offering hope and improved quality of life for you and your loved ones.

Genetic Testing for Alzheimer’

Knowledge is power — and genetic testing provides valuable insight into your risk for Alzheimer’s Disease. Our testing focuses on the APOE gene, a major genetic risk factor linked to late-onset Alzheimer’s. By identifying whether you carry risk variants such as APOE4, we can personalize your care plan, making early interventions possible. This information allows you to take proactive steps years before symptoms appear, giving you the best chance at prevention and slowing progression through lifestyle, nutrition, and medical strategies.

Inflammation & Toxin Screening

Chronic inflammation and toxin buildup are at the root of many health conditions, including obesity, autoimmune issues, and neurodegenerative diseases. Our advanced screening identifies hidden sources of inflammation and toxic exposure— from heavy metals to environmental chemicals. By pinpointing these factors, we can create a personalized plan that may include detoxification protocols, dietary changes, and supplementation. This service helps clients feel more energized, improves immune function, and reduces disease risk long term.

Nutrition Interventions

Food is medicine, and the right nutrition can be transformative. Our team provides personalized nutrition plans tailored to your genetic risk, lifestyle, and health goals. Whether you’re working on weight loss, brain health, or managing chronic inflammation, nutrition interventions can help by:

  • Balancing blood sugar and metabolism

  • Supporting gut health and digestion

  • Reducing inflammation naturally

We go beyond standard “dieting” — instead, we teach sustainable nutrition strategies that support your long-term wellness and prevention goals

Testosterone: A Vital Hormone for Both Men and Women

Testosterone is a hormone secreted by the ovaries, adrenal glands, and testes. It is the primary male sex hormone, essential for male sexual development and the maintenance of erectile function, libido, energy levels, mood, muscle growth, and fat burning. Testosterone also supports immune function, bone density, and skin tone, while regulating a wide range of physiological processes in both males and females.

Currently, over 5 million men in the United States suffer from the effects of hypogonadism, or low testosterone levels. Testosterone levels in men begin to decline in the mid to late 30s. Symptoms of low testosterone often appear gradually and include reduced energy, thinning bones and muscles, increased body fat, depression, and impaired sexual function.

Cardiovascular Health and Testosterone

Low free testosterone is an independent predictor of coronary artery disease in men, and is a common characteristic in men with heart failure. Testosterone replacement therapy has been shown to increase cardiac output in men with congestive heart failure.

Negative Effects of Low Testosterone on Cardiovascular Health

  • Increased levels of cholesterol, fibrinogen, triglycerides, and insulin

  • Reduced coronary artery elasticity

  • Higher blood pressure

  • Decline in human growth hormone (HGH), weakening the heart muscle

  • Increased abdominal fat, raising the risk of heart attack

Testosterone and Mental Health

Low testosterone levels have been found in men with Alzheimer’s disease, independent of other factors. Low testosterone may contribute to memory impairment and increase the brain's vulnerability to Alzheimer’s and related conditions.

Testosterone and Depression

Low testosterone is associated with symptoms of depression and other psychological disorders. Testosterone replacement therapy has been shown to significantly reduce depression scores, improve energy levels, and enhance libido. Prescription antidepressants, which often cause a loss of libido, may further benefit from testosterone replacement to counter this side effect.

Testosterone and Bone Health

Low testosterone is a key risk factor for osteoporosis and fractures in men. Testosterone stimulates osteoblasts, promoting new bone formation. Men with testosterone deficiency often experience significant decreases in bone density. Among men older than 65, the incidence of hip fractures is nearly 5 per 1,000, with approximately 30% of all hip fractures occurring in men. Testosterone deficiency is reported in over 50% of men with a history of hip fractures.

Testosterone and Inflammation

Testosterone replacement therapy has been shown to improve autoimmune disorders such as Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
